Wandsworth Council’s Planning Committee received a planning application for Toland Square on 5 February 2024.
Toland Square residents were informed about the proposal on 7 March 2024 and given until 28 March to provide comments. We used an online form to allow people to find comments directly to the council.
It is not a simple process to find out how to comment on the proposal. It requires navigating the council’s website and clicking no less than six times to get to the online comment box.

The comment box provides no guidance for how to structure a response, or any indication of what factors or issues the planning committee would like to see, or what factors it will or will not consider during this process.
As such, Save Toland Square created its own response and placed a simple form on this page to enable local residents to engage with this important process. Everyone was free to edit the response as they saw fit.
